2021 Manatee County Stand Down

Manatee County Stand Down is on Nov 6th!

Stand Down focuses on helping veterans and non-veterans who on on the brink of homelessness or are experiencing homelessness to receive critical needs services. Anyone who comes to Stand Down receives services that day. Plus there is live music, food, fun, and great camaraderie all morning!

If you are a veterans agency or group, social services agency, church or community group and you would like to have a table at Stand Down, please download this form and email it back to Andy Guyre aguyre@tpmanatee.org by Oct 15th Stand Down 2021 Vendor Participant Form

These services include:
Amnesty Court (only for Veterans)
Veterans Services
General and Mental Health Screenings (including flu and COVID vaccines)
Dental Screenings
Eye Exams
Career Assistance
Lunch
Distribution of Hygiene Products
Clothing Distribution
Haircuts
Florida ID/Drivers License (only for Veterans)
Raffles
AND More!

The Open Door Band will be performing all morning.

Veterans Amnesty Court will be at Stand Down too!

Veterans Amnesty Court can assist with:
– Unpaid court fees/fines (closed cases)
– Unpaid traffic fines/fees
– Driver’s license assistance
Veterans Amnesty Court is for veterans ONLY.

Remember, ALL VETERANS and NON-VETERANS can attend and receive services at Stand Down and registration is not needed for that.
