The Manatee County Stand Down is a powerful community event that provides life-changing support to veterans and non-veterans who are experiencing homelessness or are at risk of losing their housing. In one day, attendees can access critical services including healthcare, housing assistance, legal aid, employment resources, and more.
Beyond immediate assistance, Stand Down fosters dignity, hope, and connection. With over 600 participants and volunteers each year, it is one of the largest community collaborations in Manatee County dedicated to addressing homelessness.
