Bradenton, FL — 7/16/2025 Turning Points is a nonprofit organization committed to ensuring housing stability for families and individuals, providing medical and dental care to uninsured residents in Manatee County, and assisting with community resource navigation. The organization is pleased to announce the addition of two new members to its Board of Directors: Crystal Keen and Brian LaBrune.
Crystal Keen has extensive experience in business development, finance, and real estate. She is known for her collaborative spirit and purpose-driven mindset, and she is passionate about supporting causes that create lasting change. Turning Points is especially significant to her because her mother once experienced homelessness, which gives Crystal a personal connection to the mission. She proudly lends her voice, time, and perspective to help prevent homelessness, with a focus on early intervention and supportive community resources.
Brian LaBrune is a God-centered local business owner whose strong commitment to giving back is evident through numerous community-focused volunteer efforts. After learning about the critical work Turning Points does to serve neighbors in need, Brian felt a deep calling to get involved and support the organization’s impact. His hands-on approach to service and community connection makes him a valuable addition to the board.
Crystal and Brian now join an esteemed group of dedicated leaders already serving on the Turning Points Board of Directors:
- David Kraft – Chairman
- Alex Stewart – Vice Chairman
- John Shehorn – Treasurer
- Melissa Allen
- Annie Breitinger
- Mark Dunlop
- Mark DeHaan
